Mana Island Resort and Spa
Mana Island Resort & Spa
Located in the Mamanuca group of islands and approximately a 1 hr 20 min launch trip from the mainland. The Island is 300 acres, so plenty of room to explore. It has recently undergone an extensive renovation throughout and I would say it is now rated 4 ½ star and is surrounded by a crystal clear lagoon. There is a nice beach on each side of the Island (North and South beach) which gives shelter depending on which way the prevailing wind is coming from. After the major renovation the property is now looking great and has a lot more eating options.
The resort has a mix of room grades including Oceanfront Suites which are HUGE and have a mezzanine floor with the bedroom and one of the two bathrooms on this level. They also have Honeymoon Bures right down the end of the property (which come with their own motorised buggy for use during stay and personal butler service), these are huge and right on the beach.
The resort now has 6 eateries including restaurants and other cafes/bistros (including a Japanese option) that have opened with the
new renovation, the main general restaurant which serves the include buffet breakfast each morning and is open for lunch and dinner each day and is by the swimming pool area and there is also the beachside restaurant which is ideal for the wedding dinner as the views are lovely and there is nice large deck overlooking the sea that is ideal for pre-dinner drinks. Other facilities include two freshwater pools (one with swim-up bar and the other Adults only with a therapeutic spa), 4 bars, nightly entertainment, watersports centre and daily activities program, kids club (up to 12yrs), gym, tennis court, boutique, communication centre, medical clinic, beauty spa.
Up to 2 children under 14 years of age stay free when sharing existing bedding.
The resort, compared to other outer islands is very good value for money. The beaches are nice with white sand and the lagoon water is crystal clear. Included in your stay is free use of beach equipment with the exception of motorised equipment,
There are three options – beach ceremony (in a number of different locations available to choose from, including Sunset Beach
which is down the far end of the Resort offering a more private option), chapel or garden.
They have a great value for money all-inclusive package option including beach or chapel wedding ceremony, 4 nights accommodation for the bride and groom and wedding reception for 30
guests including a number of menu’s to choose from plus a 3 hour beverage package. Or you can build your own wedding package to suit.
